The Key to Happiness
I've recently been pondering what the key to happiness is and I have come to the conclusion that it's always prioritizing happiness before anything else. Every day we are born with this precious body and a new day to live, yet most of the time the average person is not always happy.  The average adult doesn't always find happiness in their job or chosen profession; every day is not always peaches and roses.  We choose the life that we live and for most people happiness is not something that they hold on the top of their priorities.  Yet if you asked that same person the simple question about what in life is most important I guarantee they will say happiness.  It's something that everyone is seeking, it's what we spend our whole lives in search for and yet we never obtain it. So what is the mystical key to happiness, how can we capture this magical emotion and keep it alive till the end of our days? The answer is so simple that it seems too easy to be true, create your own happiness for yourself and never let it go.  Make time in your every day life for the things that make you feel the most fulfilled.  Nurture your mind, body and soul and explore your core needs and once you have found what it is pencil it into your calendar as needed to maintain your personal happiness dosage.  I can't tell you exactly what it is because it is different for everyone and it is up to you to discover the depths of your inner being. No one can hold your hand and lead you to it, yet many people will introduce you to new activities, new sports like paddle boarding, new places to take your shoes off and get your feet wet with or perhaps it is as simple as taking some time to be alone and allow yourself to have a silent moment and enjoy your thoughts without interruption.  The possibilities are endless, this is the one and only life you will ever have and every second of it it just as important as the one before yet you will never be younger than you are today.  Many people who I talk about personal fitness routines tell me they will start next week and the following week it is pushed to the following week and that time never comes.  Procrastination is the ultimate goal killer and it will also prevent you from ever knowing the joy that committing to something that is good for you will create. Part of new found happiness is by taking risks and chances and venturing out of your comfort zone.  How many people do you know who say that one day they will travel, one day they sky dive or fulfill one of their bucket list items and it never happens unless they are struck by an illness when they know their days are growing shorter.  It is your time now to do the things that matter most and to live each day, each moment as if it were your last.  Ready set go!
